Dr. Carolyn Yu, DDS obtained her dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry and was on the Dean’s list during her stay at UCLA.

Following graduation, Dr. Yu completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in San Francisco.  Comprehensive oral surgery rotations were a part of her clinical training there.  As a result, Dr. Yu is comfortable treating oral surgery cases here in the office.

Early in her career, Dr. Yu realized that involvement in professional organizations allows her to remain in touch with the latest issues and concerns in the dental profession. She is a member of numerous professional organizations – such as the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Santa Clara Dental Society.

Dr. Yu’s educational background is nothing short of exquisite – which includes earning her B.S. in Biological Science, an M.S. in Nutritional Science, and her Doctorate in Dental Surgery.  Dr. Yu now works as a general dentist in your area. She is proficient in all phases of dentistry and offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She strives to establish life-long relationships with her patients to help them have beautiful, healthy smiles!  In her spare time away from dentistry, Dr. Yu likes to try new restaurants and go snowboarding.
