After graduating as valedictorian of her high school in San Jose, Dr. Jacqueline Nguyen went on to complete her B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) with high honors from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, in San Francisco. Dr. J was one of the few to be selected for membership into both Tau Kappa Omega and Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor societies in addition to the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

Dr. J is a member of the American Dental Society (ADA), the California Dental Society (CDA), and the Santa Clara County Dental Society. Dr. J stays up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education to keep up with current technology, including Laser Dentistry and dental implants. She is Invisalign certified and offers her patients a clear alternative for straightened teeth. Dr. J enjoys smile reconstruction and cosmetic veneers to improve patient’s smiles and confidence. Dr. J also enjoys working with children and her patience shows as she spends time teaching children about their oral health and trying to alleviate their dental fears.

Dr. J understands that each patient is unique and has placed trust and confidence in her and her team at Evergreen Dentists. For that, she tries her best to get to know each patient, listen to their concerns and work with them to put together a treatment plan that will meet their needs and financial budget.  She is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of oral health through open communication and education. Dr. J wants to help her patients achieve the most satisfaction in their dental care with the minimum anxiety possible.

In her spare time, Dr. J is active in her community. She and her staff volunteer their dental services at R.A.M. (Remote Area Medical) and at CDA Cares– providing free dental care to the community. She also volunteers with Give Kids a Smile and does dental screenings at local schools. Dr. J is enthusiastic when it comes to working with children and enjoys talking with them and their parents about early childhood caries and prevention. She volunteers at local schools to help educate children about oral hygiene and tooth decay. Outside of dentistry, you will find her at local Evergreen PTA meetings and school events.

Recreationally, Dr. J enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga, trying out new recipes, and relaxing at home with her husband and their three young children.
